Medical Treatments & Advances:

Dr. Grover has a special interest in the area of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) including Minimally Invasive Procedures (MIPs) such as laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH), endometrial ablation to treat abnormal uterine bleeding and heavy periods as an outpatient, surgery to correct urinary incontinence and restore bladder control, and other laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. He has been with the OB/GYN Center since 1992, with offices in Lone Tree, Littleton, and Parker, and Castle Rock, Colorado.

He was the first physician in Colorado to perform the Novasure Endometrial ablation procedure. Visit novasure.com for more information.

For those patients whose medical condition requires hysterectomy, Dr. Grover recommends minimally-invasive procedures such as Robotic-assisted Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy or Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH). Patients who undergo this operation are often able to leave the hospital in less than 24 hours and return to work within 7 to 10 days. Learn more at hysterectomysolutions.com.

Dr. Grover was the first OB/GYN physician at Sky Ridge Medical Center and Parker Adventist Hospital trained in da Vinci Robot-assisted Surgery. This allows him to perform complex pelvic surgeries including hysterectomy and myomectomy in a minimally-invasive manner such that patients who would otherwise have to have open surgery can have robotic-assisted surgery with small abdominal incisions. These patients are routinely able to get out of bed, walk around in their room, eat normal food and void without a catheter immediately after surgery. da Vinci hysterectomy patients go home the next morning and are back to work in one week or less.

Dr. Grover is pleased to offer his patients the new No-Incision Essure hysterocopic tubal ligation procedure that is done in our Surgery Center and allows for an immediate recovery with no down time. Visit essure.com for more information. He also offers office insertion of the new Implanon 3-year, single-rod implantable contraceptive.

Patients who struggle with bladder control can now be cured with a simple outpatient surgery called TVT. Dr. Grover is pleased to offer this procedure for his patients.
